We do need to mention however that original fascist and corporatist ideals were a bit about sort of monopolizing each sector into its own government-controlled niche. From fascism, it started with strains of syndicalism, an originally socialist but VERY tainted ideology ( overtime at least) that advocated for small government and workers syndicates being in control of the economy. Corporatism, in some forms, wanted syndicates to monopolize into certain sectors and sort of BE the government, though what fascism suggested was a totalitarian head of the state who ruled and worked with each of these sectors. It didn’t originally have much to do with capitalist monopoly, but since fascist regimes have never managed to escape capitalism, most often losing the will to even do so, corporations became those syndicates instead, creating monopoly capitalism. Monopoly capitalism itself is similar to fascism, but its defining feature to become fascism is the inward movement of imperialism inside the nation itself, exploiting both its colonized lands and its own people. Therein, the government and the corporations would enable one another with corruption, exploitation, and profit-seeking, creating one of the most decayed forms of capitalism in history.
